Social Media Leader

As the member in this position, it is your job to increase your chapter's visibility with the power of social media, receive mentoring and support, digital marketing tools and access to your chapter's social media. 


You will post on stories and learn to schedule posts, record short videos and take pictures and create events. 


Encourage your groups activity on the page by sharing and liking content, sharing in their stories or timelines, responding to events and inviting other local business owners and entrepreneurs to follow the page. 

Tips and Tricks


Social Media only works if you work social media. With that being said, we want you to work smarter, not harder. 


Create a line of graphics that can be easily edited each week, or tap into the TNT graphics that can be edited via canva for free!


Ask your networking partners to send you a nugget of what they would like to share about networking and TNT so you always have a personalized quote from them. 


Connect with the various networking Facebook groups and community Facebook as both your TNT chapter account and your personal account as not all will allow a page to join. 


Use your phone to cross post 4 groups at once.


Tag your networking partners, chapter and events with @


At this time, LinkedIn and Instagram activity is at the chapters discretion and encouraged. 

Total Networking Team Social Media Schedule

  • Weekly
    • Post in networking groups about your meeting
    • Take Photos and Videos during your meeting
    • Post in stories highlighting your chapter and schedule posts for during the week.
    • Share motivational and networking related generic posts
    • Spend at least 5 minutes a week interacting on the page's timeline. Comment, like, post and share and interact with other like minded social media users.


  • Monthly
    • Create recurring events for your weekly meetings 
    • Highlight the Member of the Month
    • Announce new members


  • Quarterly 
    • Create events for Visitor Days and Socials
    • Share events in Networking Groups
    • Spend time connecting and commenting with your TNT Chapter's Facebook newsfeed

  • Weekly Posting Example
    • Monday: Highlight the upcoming 10 minute speaker and post in the event and networking groups about your upcoming meeting


  • Tuesday (Day of meeting): Encourage chapter participation by having them post and tag the chapter or Check-into the event created and remind them to interact with content during the week. Take photos and videos during your meeting of any highlights such as, inducting members, birthdays, 60 second winner, mentor moment. Mentor Moments are fantastic story content along with other snippets of the meeting.


  • Wednesday: Spotlight your 60 second winner, making sure to tag them and their business. 


  • Thursday: Show your audience they may big big bucks by visiting and highlight your 50/50 winner.


  • Friday: Close out the week with some Friday motivation.
